Christmas Cuddles

Yep unless you want to use a different font and tube that's all you need!

 

1: Open a new transparent canvas 500X 375.

Fill with the dmschristmasgree gradient from the zip file. Angle 45 repeats 1 linear invert is not checked.

2: Effects texture effects fur with the following settings.

3: Effects, edge effects enhance more.

4: Open the border selection in PSP. It looks blank, but that's okay.

Back to your working image.

Add a new raster layer.

5: Select the selection tool set at rectangle.

Find the custom selection in the top toolbar and use the following settings.

 

6: Flood with the gradient same settings except the angle changes to 133. Leave selected.

7: Effects 3D effects drop shadow with the following settings.

8: Add a new raster layer.

Selections load from alpha channel. You will see the border selection. There is only one selection there so just click OK. You will see the ants marching at the top.

Flood fill with gold.

Add the same drop shadow as in 7.

9: X out the bottom layer. Click on the middle layer. Layers merge visible.

10: Image duplicate, image flip.

Take the X off the bottom layer and merge visible.

11: Open the chili_WaitingForSanta tube. Shift D to duplicate and close the original.

Resize the duplicate tube by 60% making sure all layers is selected.

Click on the top blue bar. Go back to your working image and paste as a new layer.

Move slightly up towards the decorated bar.

12: Add the same drop shadow as in 7.

Repeat the drop shadow, but this time put the vertical to -3 and the horizontal to 3.

13: Click on your text tool with create as vector checked. Select a nice Christmassy font. I have included the one I used in the zip file.

Click on the bottom layer and type in your text.

Position as you wish then convert to raster layer.

14: Add both drop shadows as in 12.

Adjust sharpness, sharpen.

Merge all, flatten.

15: Image add borders 3.

Select with the magic wand and fill with gold.

Add your watermark and you are all done.
